Harris Ng

Educated at Raffles Institution Singapore, HARRIS NG went to Canada to further his studies in Civil Engineering at the University of Manitoba. He was struck by a mental disorder in his fourth year.

Recovering from schizophrenia, he started teaching and writing. His first book RECOVERED GRACE: SCHIZOPHRENIA was published in 2005. He completed his second book WHEN I FIRST WALKED IN in 2007. Together with TEACHER, TEACHER, I LOVE YOU, published in 2009, the three books form a trilogy.

Harris is a Speaker and an active Advocate for mental wellness in Singapore. He teaches, gives talks, conducts courses and facilitates interactive Peer Support Groups. He believes that ” We live beyond the brains and often thinks from a position outside the box.
