Soon to be published
Look out for Harris’ other books, written but yet to be published. “When the printing fund is available or forthcoming, I will publish them…” is my secret wish and prayer!
(1) Blessed the World: Poems That Last
This book consists of a collection of more than 100 poems written by Harris over a period of 30 years. The poems are easy to read and cover a many aspects of life as Harris sees it.
(2) Amazing Help-Help Angels
Harris’s first attempt at writing fiction. Suitable for both adults and children. Funny but real!
Book – When I First Walked In

The trilogy: Recovered Grace: Schizophrenia, When I First Walked In and Teacher Teacher I Love You tell interesting stories of the writer’s experiences with the Mental Mind, the Spiritual Mind and the Educated Mind. Together the three books present a holistic view of the human person. The writer believes a person has three minds!
In When I First walked In, Harris tells us about his experiences when he first walked into the presence of God — a personal story that would make you sit right up!
Book – Teacher Teacher I Love You

Harris deals with questions and stories we often think about but seldom articulate. The book contains amusing dialogues with students who express their struggles with the education system and how they cope with it.
The author shares value he has found in the educational system or the educated mind: What is the purpose of education and how should it be viewed and carried out?
Book – Recovered Grace: Schizhoprenia (Korean)

The Korean translation was produced by three Koreans: a recovered patient, a psychiatrist and a pharmacist. The book is available at all mental health care centres and hospitals in Korea.
Book – Recovered Grace: Schizophrenia (Indonesian)

The Indonesian translation is made possible by the kind effort of two beloved sisters from the Church, one of whom is a professional translator.
Book – Recovered Grace: Schizophrenia (Chinese)

The Chinese translation was done by the wife of a pastor and edited by Chinese graduates of the former Chinese university in Singapore: Nantah.

Book Review by Edmund Ewe
Malaysian Mental Health Association
“This book is good reading not only for those who want to know more about mental illnesses, but also for family members and other people with mental illnesses. The bravery and fortitude of Harris will serve as a role model for others and dispel the falsehood that mental illness is incurable. His road to full recovery, although rocky and arduous at times, serves to inspire others with a similar condition to stick to their medication and rehabilitation programme, because there is hope and light at the end of the tunnel called schizophrenia, by God’s grace.”
Available at the National Library Board
Also available in Chinese, Indonesian, Korean and Braille.
The Visually Handicap Group at my church has also made the book available in Braille. The Braille copies can be borrowed from Paya Lebar Methodist Church, Singapore.
